   Hi there,

   Just discovered simpleContact and would like to give it a try on a site I'm currently developing. I have not yet updated the DNS to point to my server, so currently the site is simply showing in a sub folder of the root directory. Once I update DNS,it will be it's own domain.

   Can I install simpleContact and set up forms before updating DNS? Will there be issues after the DNS updates?

   The site in question is currently accessible via mymainsite.com/siteinprogress.com

   Once I update DNS /siteinprogress.com will be active as a ADD ON DOMAIN.

   I would love to have the forms ready before updating DNS but I'm afraid there will be path issues if I install before DNS is updated.

   Any input would be appreciated.

   Hi Yael,

   Apologies for the delayed response. It seems my forum software incorrectly marked your post as spam, and I've just noticed that error while examining the database.

   simpleContact uses relative paths (as opposed to absolute ones which include a full URL) for links between scripts. I would not expect any problems if you install it then alter your DNS, but if you do please let me know and I'll do what I can to help.
