   Hi Alex,

   Just bought SCPro yesterday and installed it on a site today. Installation was a cinch and I got the form showing up on a test page on a production site. When I fill out the form, however, I get the following error:

   "An error occurred when connecting to the database. Please check that you have configured and installed this system correctly."

   Despite that error I see that the form info does write to the database and shows up in the SCPro admin area. I'm not sure what I'm missing.

   I also noticed that if I log in to the admin, I get this error: "Error on line 1". If I refresh I'm taken to the inbox just fine.

   Hi Angie,

   Please email me with the URL of your form so that I can take a look. I'm happy to discuss this issue on the forum, but I may need to ask you for private information that should not be shared here.

   There is a known bug in simpleContact Pro 2.0 that concerns quote marks in certain field types. If any of your fields have single or double quotes in either their labels or their options please try removing them.

   The only reported instance of an error on line 1 is if the update check has failed. You can find a more detailed explanation and instructions for solving this issue in the error on line 1 forum thread.

   Both of these issues will be fixed in the next release.

   The form is going through now - had a couple labels with single quotes. I'm still seeing the "Error on line 1" message on login though. I'll email you with the URL. Everything else is working great!

   This issue was investigated by email. The aforementioned solution was applied and the issue was resolved.
