   Hi

   I am wondering if I can insert Norwegian letters (we have 3 extra letters in our alphabet æøå) and create custom fields in the contact.php file in Norwegian?

   I am testing out the lite version to see if this is something that covers my needs.

   I am the web master at http://spirituellfilm.no/
   We run a movie club where people can reserve a ticket to movie of the month by filling out a custom form. They have three options, earlier member, active member or new member. By their choice they are directed to the appropiate form (they are all very similar).
   They can also sign up for the newsletter to receive information about the movie of the month.

   So I am wondering if simplecontact either lite or pro will cover my needs? Or if there is some other mail form that will help.

   Both simpleContact Lite and Pro will support the Norwegian characters mentioned, because Norwegian is covered by the Latin-1 text encoding that it currently uses.

   Full support for worldwide languages through UTF-8 text encoding is planned for simpleContact Pro 2.1. See the release notes for more information.

   Please note:

   1) simplecontact Lite does not allow you to add custom fields to your contact form - only the Pro version does that. Lite gives you a selection of predefined fields to choose from.

   2) simpleContact is not a membership system by design. It is a contact form builder with mailing list opt-in. Although some people are using it to power multiple forms and gather registrations for promotions using a hack I wrote to prevent multiple submissions with the same email address, you may find in practice that it does not provide the membership features you want.
